Astronomy on Tap Davis: Galaxy Clusters and the Distance Ladder!

Get ready for a great night of beer and space! We’ll have two UC Davis physics and astronomy folks giving talks.
PhD student Rodrigo Stancioli will speak about merging galaxy clusters and the nature of dark matter, and Researcher Dr. Sam Schmidt will present on how the Distance Ladder enables us to measure cosmic distances. As always, we will have Astronomy in the news, and chances to win a fresh batch of prizes with trivia and a raffle.
