Astronomy on Tap — Davis (March 2022; in-person)

Our next event is coming up on Friday, 18th March from 6-8pm at Sudwerk Brewing Co.! Since the event is in-person, Covid-19 vaccination and indoor masking will be required.
We’ll have talks by two incredible Ph.D. students from the UC Davis department — come by to learn about dark matter as well as the origins of the Milky Way galaxy.
Fiona McCluskey will present on “Revealing the past, present, and future of the Milky Way using the Gaia Mission”.
Jake Cohen will talk about “Missing matter: let’s call it Dark”.
As always, there will be prizes for trivia and a raffle. Help us spread the word by inviting your family, friends, and colleagues for a fun evening of astronomy and beer!
