Join Lowell Observatory and Mother Road Brewing Co. on February 15th at 6:30pm for a special I <3 Pluto edition of Astronomy on Tap! This year we celebrate 94 years since Pluto’s discovery by Clyde Tombaugh at Lowell Observatory!
Lowell historian Kevin Schindler will talk about the Sykes brothers, Godfrey and Stanley, and their immense impact on the observatory and the search for Pluto. Mother Road will unveil this year’s special I <3 Pluto Festival beer and discuss how its style connects to the makers and menders of Lowell Observatory. There will be trivia and a chance to win prizes after the talk, and of course, plenty of Mother Road brews to enjoy on tap! We’ll see you there!
