Astronomy on Tap Groningen | June Edition

On Monday, June 22nd at 20:15 (doors open at 20:00), we’ll be hosting the next edition of Astronomy on Tap Groningen at the Kroeg van Klaas!

For this last edition before the summer break, we’re joined by not one, not two, but three speakers, all from the University of Groningen. Csilla Tijssen will talk about ‘How a young galaxy grows up when you leave it all alone’, Mariasole de Amicis will discuss ‘The Atmospheres of Hot Jupiters, and how to study them’, and AoT Groningen’s very own Malo Blömker will tell us all about ‘Detecting Gamma Rays Through Cherenkov Radiation’.

As always, we’ll also bring you the latest astronomy news and put your knowledge to the test with our astronomical pub quiz, featuring a special prize!

Admission is free, but a ticket is required. You can sign up via this link.

We hope to see you there!
