Astronomy on Tap Groningen – Using the LOFAR Radio Telescope to Image Lightning
February 9 @ 8:15 PM - 10:15 PM EST
We’re back! On Monday, February 9th at 20:15 (doors open at 20:00), we’ll be hosting the next edition of Astronomy on Tap Groningen at the Kroeg van Klaas!
This time, we’re joined by postdoc Brian Hare from the University of Groningen, who will talk about how the LOFAR Radio Telescope is able to image lightning. As always, we’ll also bring you the latest astronomy news and challenge your knowledge with our astronomical pub quiz, featuring a special prize!
Admission is free, but a ticket is required. You can sign up via this link.
We hope to see you there!
