Learn more about Hawaiʻi Astronomy at Astronomy on Tap at the Hilo Town Tavern every first Thursday of the month from 7pm to 9pm HST. All perspectives on the night sky are welcome here at this free and casual event.
July 4th’s event will feature Jennifer Andrews from the Gemini Observatory who will speak about cosmic fireworks and Alexis Acohido from the Canada France Hawai’i Telescope who will speak about Helu Pō, the Hawaiian Lunar Calendar. Join us for these short talks and entertainment in between!
