Come check out Astronomy on Tap Triangle, our North Carolina chapter of short and engaging talks about astronomy over beer. Find us in the taproom of Fullsteam Brewery in Durham, NC from 7-8:30 PM on Wednesday, September 4th!
Join us as we delve into the anticipated rise of a “new star” in the night sky with T Coronae Borealis, the Blaze Star, on the brink of a rare nova eruption. We’ll explore how this once faint star will soon burst into brilliance, creating a significant event in the world of astronomy. Discover the science behind this celestial phenomenon and why the Blaze Star’s impending outburst is an important moment in our understanding of the cosmos.
