Astronomy on Tap Las Vegas #7 – Universe in a Box

Join Astronomy on Tap Las Vegas to learn about the many ways astronomers simulate the universe! Professor Paul la Plante will tell us about cosmological simulations, and the UNLV graduate students will hop in to present their simulations, from exoplanets to black holes! The event takes place at Astronomy Aleworks and begins on Thursday, March 2nd at 7 pm for ages 21+ only. Tickets are required for this event and can be reserved at Eventbrite.

AoT Las Vegas consists of researchers from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. We research a wide range of topics, from black holes to exoplanets. We partner with Astronomy Aleworks in Henderson to bring outer space to the public and have them compete in space-themed trivia (with prizes!) Prepare for trivia questions ranging from science to science history to sci-fi.
