Astronomy on Tap Las Vegas #8 – Journey to the Center of the Earth

Join Astronomy on Tap Las Vegas for a night of drinks and trivia, while learning how astronomers study the universe!  For this event, Professor Ashkan Salamat will tell us about high pressure physics happening at the Nevada Extreme Conditions Laboratory.  Afterwards, our former host David Rice will explain how the results found in these high pressure labs can improve our understanding about the interior structures of planets.  The event begins at Astronomy Aleworks on Tuesday, June 20th at 7pm for ages 21+ only.  Tickets are required at this event and can be reserved on Eventbrite.
