Astronomy on Tap Los Angeles: Dark Matter and Cosmology

Join us at 7:30PM PDT, Monday, May 15th for our next Astronomy on Tap at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from Caltech Astronomer Dr. Sofia Gallego: “The Great Cosmic Recipe: Understanding the Universe on Large Scales,” and JPL Scientist Dr. Leonidas Moustakas: “Gravitational Lensing and the Nature of Dark Matter.”  In addition, we will have a telescope on-hand for guided stargazing as well as astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes!  There will also be live music in between talks from the amazing Jason Achilles and Forrest Mitchell.
