Astronomy on Tap Los Angeles: Energy Beaming & Space Dust

Join us at 7:30PM PST, Monday, December 4th for Astronomy on Tap at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from Caltech Research Scientist Dr. Mike Kelzenberg: “Beamed Energy for Earth, the Skies, and Beyond” and Caltech PhD Candidate Sam Rose: “(Star)Dust to Dust: The Formation, Observation, and Impact of Space Dust.” In addition, we will have a telescope on-hand for guided stargazing, live music by Jason Achilles and Forrest Mitchell, professional astronomers to answer your science questions, and astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes!
