Astronomy on Tap Los Angeles: Hubble Movies & Milky Way’s Black Hole

Join us at 7:30PM PDT, Monday, June 13th for an in-person Astronomy on Tap at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from Dr. Frank Summers: “Cinematic Astronomy with the Hubble Space Telescope” and from Dr. Katie Bouman: “The First Portrait of Our Milky Way’s Black Hole”. In addition, we will have a telescope on-hand for guided stargazing as well as astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes! This is a special event as part of the Pasadena Week of Astronomy, featuring numerous free activities around the city–check them out!
