Astronomy on Tap Los Angeles: Planetary Weather and World-Changing Discoveries

December 12, 2022 @ 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM PST

Join us at 7:30PM PDT, Monday, December 12th for an in-person Astronomy on Tap at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from Julie Inglis: “What to Pack for Interplanetary Travel: A Guide to Planetary Weather” and from Michael Pajkos “Astronomical Discoveries that Change our Civilization.”

In addition, we will have a telescope on-hand for guided stargazing as well as astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes!  There will also be live-music in between talks from the amazing Jason Achilles and Forrest Mitchell.

The event is free and open to all ages.  No reservations are necessary, just show up and stay only as long as you want. To view our past events, see our location page.  For more information about our future events and affiliated lecture+stargazing series at Caltech, see our website.
