Astronomy on Tap Los Angeles: The Early Universe & Astronomy with Rockets

July 22 @ 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM PDT

Join us at 7:30PM PDT, Monday, July 22nd for Astronomy on Tap at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from Caltech PhD Student Zhuyun Zhuang: “Did the James Webb Space Telescope Break Our Understanding of the Early Universe?” as well as recent Caltech graduate Richard Feder: “What Goes Up Must Come Down: Infrared Astronomy with Sounding Rockets.”  In addition, we will have a telescope on-hand for guided stargazing, professional astronomers to answer your science questions, astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes, and live music with local rockstar Jason Achilles!

The event is free and open to all ages.  No reservations are necessary, just show up and stay only as long as you want. To view our past events, see our location page.  For more information about our future events and affiliated Stargazing Lecture Series at Caltech, see our website.
