Astronomy on Tap NYC – Rockets
March 21 @ 6:45 PM - 8:15 PM EDT
A rocket slumps into a bar, and collapses on a stool. Bartender says “what’re you having?” The rocket, all haggard and downtrodden, says, “It’s been a lousy day man, I was grounded. Got anything uplifting?”
Yes! This month, Astronomy on Tap in NYC is on 3/21, and what better way to celebrate than talking about blasting off?!?! And oh my, do we have some prizes this time??? The first 25 people or so get a special door prize! Plus stickers, and even bigger prizes for trivia winners!
•NASA Solar System Ambassador Elysia Segal from the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum, talking about the recent Artemis launch (which she was at!!).
•Russell “Rocketman” Taragan from the American Museum of Natural History, a veteran of AoT rocket-themed events going where no AoT rocket-themed event has gone – considering ways to DE-ROCKET the trip to space. What does that even mean!?
Plus your hosts MC Tycho Brewhaha and MC Annie Drunk Cannon calling the shots!
