Astronomy on Tap – Orlando Event #27: The Universe and You: Cosmic Curiosity!

This event will be a little different from our past events. We’re going to try to answer all your cosmic curiosities with an interview featuring Dr. Yanga Fernandez, where he will be answering your questions about the universe!

To make this work, we will need participation not only from our in-person audience but from our social media followers as well. Over the next three weeks, we will be gathering questions from social media to ask Dr. Fernandez, so if you have any unanswered questions about the universe or even how to become a scientist, please post them in the comments below!

Come join us at the Ivanhoe Park Lager House on Thursday, January 22nd, from 7 to 9 PM for another out-of-this-world event!
Dr. Yanga Fernandez, a Professor at the University of Central Florida, will talk about his path to becoming a scientist, the good, the bad, and the ugly, while also answering audience questions about the universe. This is an AoT that you DO NOT want to miss!

As always, we will finish off the night with a round of our space trivia, where you will have the chance to win some fun astronomy-themed prizes. Weather permitting, we will also have a telescope set up out back of the brewery at the end of the night for some stargazing!

Be sure to like, follow, and subscribe to us on all social media to stay up to date with our events!
