Astronomy on Tap Paris – The Gamma-Ray Sky on July 2

Get ready for another great round of astronomy talks! This July we’ll be exploring the high-energy universe in gamma-rays! Dr. Alberto Rosales will delve into the beauty of gamma-ray astronomy, what instruments astronomers use to study the gamma-ray sky, and why high-energy observations are so important. Dr. Rachel Hamburg will then talk about gamma-ray bursts, the most energetic electromagnetic explosions in the universe and some of the most mysterious!
