Astronomy on Tap- Storrs, CT: 09/17 Gravitational Wave Special!
September 17, 2025 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM EDT
On September 14th, 2015, LIGO made the first observation of a gravitational wave. Now, almost exactly 10 years later, we’ve got lots to talk about!
Coming to talk about their work studying gravitational waves are Bjorn Larsen and London Willson, graduate students from Yale and the University of Connecticut, respectively. Afterward, we’ll have trivia (with prizes!), so come join us at Hops 44 on 09/17 at 7pm!
This is a FREE monthly outreach event. While we will not be providing any food or drinks, Hops 44 will have plenty of delicious food for you purchase!
