Tucson’s local flavor of Astronomy on Tap, Space Drafts, presents its 89th edition featuring Jasmin Washington and Jeniveve Pearson! Plus Astronomy in the News with Dr. Danny Krolikowski!

&
Once Upon a Time, There Was a Massive Star – Jeniveve Pearson
On tap this month, we have Steward Observatory graduate students Jeniveve Pearson and Jasmin Washington! Jeniveve will be telling us the life story of a massive star, and Jasmin will teach us all about how physics works in the Mass Effect video game series! We’ll also be hearing all about the latest Astronomy in the News from Dr. Danny Krolikowski, so please join us to learn about the latest and greatest in the astronomical world.
We’ll be out on the patio of Borderlands Brewing Company (119 E. Toole Ave, Tucson AZ, accessible via stairs and a ramp) at 7:30pm Arizona time on July 18. There is street parking near the venue, and several bus lines run to the Toole/7th Ave. bus stop right next door. If you’re feeling up for a bit of walking, the Sun Link street car runs to Congress/6th Ave (if going westbound) or SL/Broadway/Church (if going eastbound), about half a mile away from Borderlands. However, if you can’t make it in person, you can also join us online at bit.ly/SpaceDrafts89!
