Searching for Snapshots of Giant Exoplanet Migration – Arvind Gupta
On tap this month, we have NSF NOIRLab postdoc Dr. Arvind Gupta talking about giant exoplanet migration and University of Arizona optical sciences professor Dr. Daewook Kim telling us about the future of giant space telescopes. And Steward postdocs Jackie Champagne and Danny Krolikowski will be telling us all about the latest and greatest astronomical news!
We’ll be out on the patio of Borderlands Brewing Company (119 E. Toole Ave, Tucson AZ, accessible via stairs and a ramp) at 7:30pm MST on April 16. There is street parking near the venue, and several bus lines run to the Toole/7th Ave. bus stop right next door. If you’re feeling up for a bit of walking, the Sun Link street car runs to Congress/6th Ave (if going westbound) or SL/Broadway/Church (if going eastbound), about half a mile away from Borderlands. And you can also join us online at bit.ly/SpaceDrafts97 if you can’t make it in person!
