Astronomy on Tap (AoT) Bloomington is one of the many satellite locations of the national Astronomy on Tap network. At its core, AoT consists of a series of short, free, public, astronomy-related presentations in a bar. Events sometimes also include trivia, games, prizes, free giveaways, music, dancing, and costumes. Events and presentations are aimed at a broad range of people including children! The AoT Bloomington satellite is run by the IU Astronomy PhD students but we are not directly affiliated with the university itself. We aim to host 2-3 AoT talks a semester where we bring fun and inclusive astronomy talks to the public including some games. Our previous events can be found on our Facebook website linked here.
