Astronomy on Tap Seattle V: July 22nd at Bad Jimmy’s

Our fifth event in Seattle will be on July 22nd from 7-9 pm and will again be hosted by Ballard’s own Bad Jimmy’s who will have ~9 beers (and plenty of astronomy) on tap.

THIS MONTH we’ll begin with beer and two new talks. The first is by University of Washington graduate student Rodrigo Luger on searching for alien Earths, and our second talk will be by  James Davenport, a soon-to-be PhD graduate from the University of Washington, on “How Stars Keep Active as They Age.” Then, we’ll play some astrotrivia with (tasty) prizes.

Don’t miss our fifth event, and be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to get updates on future events!

Please RSVP on our eventbrite page.
