AoT-CU: Black Holes with Charles Gammie – March 16

What is a black hole?  If they don’t shine, how do we know they’re there?  At this month’s Champaign-Urbana Astronomy on Tap Prof. Charles Gammie from the University of Illinois Astronomy and Physics departments will lead a discussion of these mysterious objects.  Join us for pizza, beer, and the universe on Thursday, March 16 at 6 pm at Pizza M in Urbana, IL.

This event is hosted by the University of Illinois Department of Astronomy. Everyone is welcome to this free event. For more information, email astro.illini@gmail.com or contact us via Facebook or Twitter, or find us on AstronomyOnTap.org.
