On Thursday July 27th 2017, Astronomy on Tap hosts a screening of (perhaps) the greatest ever Star Trek movie: STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN. As well as shouting KHAAAAAAAAAAN along with William Shatner, we’ll follow up the movie with a presentation by AoT ATX co-founder and Host Star Remnant Dr. Rachael Livermore on the science in the movie. (Yes, there’s science in this movie!)
The screening will be held at the brand new Alamo Drafthouse Mueller, which features new reclining seats and a full bar and restaurant with service to your seat during the movie.
Tickets for this event cost $11.64 and are available through the Alamo Drafthouse website. These events have reserved seating and space is limited, but if you are unable to attend in person you can catch the post-movie talks on the AoTATX YouTube channel!
