Join Dr. Jeremy Bailin, associate professor at the University of Alabama and visiting scholar at Steward Observatory, as he describes how to (numerically) assemble a galaxy, and Gustavo Rahmer, laser/systems engineer at the Large Binocular Telescope, as he tells us about using lasers in astronomy.
