Join us for another installment of Astronomy on Tap: State College. We’ll be at Happy Valley Brewing Company on Tuesday, August 30 from 6-8 pm (but arrive early to grab some great food and beer). This month’s theme is “light pollutions and neutrino solutions!” Makaylee Crone will discuss how light pollution affects populations other than astronomers, namely, bees! Stephanie Wissel will talk about detecting neutrinos from space at a Greenland observatory. We will also have our usual trivia and astronomy in the news.
