Astronomy on Tap Trenton | Extragalactic Cookie Monsters and Space: The Cluttered Frontier

We’re back, New Jersey! Astronomy on Tap is a series of world-wide events in which professional astronomers give informal talks at a local bar on topics of broad interest in astronomy and astrophysics. Each event consists of two 10-15 min talks, followed by questions and comments. Speakers will mingle with the audience between the two talks, and there will also be a trivia session with questions related to astronomy. At the end of the night prizes will be handed to the winners! Join us at Trenton Social every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7pm for a fun night!

This week’s speakers are Dr. Charlotte Ward (Princeton), who will talk about the supermassive black holes that swallow stars whole, and Roohi Dalal (Princeton), who will talk about the cluttered frontier of space junk and what should be done about it.
