Astronomy on Tap Boston: AI in Astronomy

Join us for another edition of Astronomy on Tap at Aeronaut Brewing Co. on October 16th at 6:30pm! We will feature talks and trivia about the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Astronomy, in partnership with the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Fundamental Interactions (IAIFI). Our speakers for this event will be Dr. Cecilia Garraffo (Harvard/CfA) and Dr. Alex Gagliano (IAIFI/MIT/CfA), who will tell us about how we use AI for astronomical research and provide some broader perspective.

Each FREE Astronomy on Tap event features accessible, engaging science presentations on topics that reveal the mysterious of our Universe! Most events also have games and prizes to test your new knowledge! There is also plenty of time to ask questions, interact with presenters, and chat with other scientists who stick around for a beer.
