Astronomy on Tap Cardiff: Wonders and Blunders

Astronomy on Tap is coming to Cardiff! Join us on the run up to the National Astronomy Meeting (NAM) for four nights throughout June with astro-activities and talks from academics at Cardiff University.

In the second event of June, Helena Faustino Vieira will be taking us on a history lesson of the wonders of astronomy, showing how we started our exploration and where we are now. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Dr Roger Wesson will be looking at some of the blunders that have crossed astronomer and astrophysicists paths throughout history, including the discovery of pulsar planets. In addition to the talks we have a small quiz midway through to really get you in the Astro-spirit!
