Astronomy on Tap Davis: Earth Formation and Lunar Craters!

Get ready for a great night of beer and space! We have two fantastic speakers lined up, both graduate students in the UC Davis Departement of Earth and Planetary Sciences.
PhD student Nathalie Niepagen will talk about how noble gases can help us learn about the early history of Earth’s formation, while PhD student Megan Harwell will discuss using shock physics to understand impact craters on the Moon.
In addition, we will have our usual Astronomy News segment as well as trivia and raffle prizes to be won.
