Astronomy on Tap Los Angeles: Interstellar Dust & Black Hole Accretion

Join us at 7:30PM PST, Monday, March 25th for Astronomy on Tap at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from Caltech PhD Candidate Nadine Hassan: “How Dust Shapes the Stars,” as well as Caltech postdoctoral fellow Dr. Edward Nathan: “Black Holes: Dining with the Stars.” In addition, we will have a telescope on-hand for guided stargazing, professional astronomers to answer your science questions, and astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes!
