Astronomy on Tap NYC and CUNY professor Emily Rice are hosting a family-friendly eclipse workshop at Northend Food Hall in Washington Heights!
Closest subway stops are the 1 at 181st St. or the A at 181st St. (exit via the ramp onto Overlook Terrace/184th St. from the northern end of the station, then walk east toward Broadway).
Drop in any time from on Saturday, March 23 from 3 to 5 pm to explore eclipses, do some fun science activities, and learn everything you need to know to view the upcoming 90% solar eclipse safely from NYC!
Eclipse glasses will be available while supplies last. Bring a cereal (or similar) box to make your own pinhole viewer!
Solar viewing may be possible, weather permitting.
