Astronomy on Tap Los Angeles: Planetary Paparazzi & Legends of the Night Sky

Join us at 7:30PM PST, Monday, January 29th for Astronomy on Tap at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from Caltech PhD Candidates Niyati Desai: “Planetary Paparazzi: Engineering Telescopes for Exoplanet Close-Ups” and Kaustav Das: “The Starry Tapestry: Myths and Legends of the Night Sky.” In addition, we will have a telescope on-hand for guided stargazing, live music by Jason Achilles and Forrest Mitchell, professional astronomers to answer your science questions, and astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes!
