Tucson’s local flavor of Astronomy on Tap, #SpaceDrafts, presents its 69th edition with astronomers Rachael Amaro and Parker Fagrelius

The History of Supernova Observations – Rachael Amaro & DESI: Creating a 3D Map of the Universe with Robots – Parker Fagrelius

On tap this month is Rachael Amaro of Steward Observatory who will take us through the history of supernova observations, and Parker Fagrelius from NSF’s National Optical-Infrared Astronomy Research Laboratory (NOIRLab) talking about the exciting Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI).

The event is on October 19th at 7pm Pacific Time at the Borderlands Brewing Company (119 E. Toole Ave, Tucson AZ). We will also be livestreaming on Facebook!
