&
Space Travel by Words: Poetry About Up There, Down Here, and In Between – Fuda Nguyen
On tap this month, we have physics graduate student Maria Mutz talking about pulsars and other unidentified blinking objects, and Lunar and Planetary Laboratory graduate student Fuda Nguyen giving us an exclusive poetry reading! And you won’t want to miss the latest Astronomy in the News with Steward postdocs Jackie Champagne and Danny Krolikowski!
We’ll be out on the patio of Borderlands Brewing Company (119 E. Toole Ave, Tucson AZ, accessible via stairs and a ramp) at 7:30pm MST on January 16. There is street parking near the venue, and several bus lines run to the Toole/7th Ave. bus stop right next door. If you’re feeling up for a bit of walking, the Sun Link street car runs to Congress/6th Ave (if going westbound) or SL/Broadway/Church (if going eastbound), about half a mile away from Borderlands. However, if you can’t make it in person, you can also join us online at bit.ly/SpaceDrafts94.
