Astronomy on Tap Western Mass #11

Please join us at New City Brewery in Easthampton, Massachusetts for the eleventh installment of Astronomy on Tap Western Mass! This month we have two talks, trivia, Astronomy in the News, and telescope viewing (weather permitting). First up, Prof. Mia de los Reyes explains how astronomers go from simple measurements of light to estimating physical properties of astronomical objects. Then, Prof. Janosz Dewberry will talk about seismology and how it is used to figure out what goes on inside stars and planets. Admission is free and open to all ages. We suggest arriving 15-30 minutes early. We hope to see you there!
