Astronomy on Tap DC is thrilled to be returning to DC9 on Monday, May 29th for a very special event! The theme of the night will be “Planetary Defense: From Discovery to Impact.”

We will hear talks from Kelly Fast (NASA Headquarters), Lindley Johnson (NASA Headquarters), and Andy Rivkin (The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory).

We will have prize giveaways and astronomy trivia where you can win an exclusive Astronomy on Tap DC pint glass! Doors 7:30 PM, talks begin at 8 PM. 21+

Astronomy on Tap returns to DC on Wednesday, Sep 21st at a new location, DC9 (2nd floor)! We are thrilled to be hosted by a larger venue, with more screens throughout the bar which will make the presentations accessible to everyone. Similar to past events, we will have outstanding talks, prize giveaways for Astronomy Bingo, and we will be introducing Astronomy trivia, featuring exclusive Astronomy on Tap DC pint glasses as prizes.
