Astronomy on Tap NYC #124 – bringing astronomers to the bar for over 10 years! Arrive early to Pete’s Candy Store (~6:45pm) in Williamsburg to grab your seats, grab a drink, and settle in for science talks, games, prizes, and fun!
So… what do you call a drunk angle? A wrecked-angle, of course!! This month it’s a brooooad look at the Universe! What does it know? Does it know things? Let’s find out! And what shapes is it?? We’ve got two cosmologists, and a square-based (…get it? May 4^2? May the 4th SQUARED? (…May 16th??)) trivia game for awesome prizes!

•Will Coulton (he/him) is an observational cosmologist at the Flatiron Institute in Manhattan, and will be speaking about “The Shape of the You-niverse.”
•Marcell R Howard is a theoretical cosmologist and a grad student at the University of Pittsburgh where he has given an Astronomy on Tap talk before!
