All of the craft beer drinking science junkies will tell you: beer is a great marinade for the mind, especially when it comes to astronomy! We will have three speakers each talking about fun and interesting space-themed topics and a raffle/possible game for winning astronomy related prizes.
Our speakers are three graduate students (Gabriel Humberto Ortiz Peña,Amanda White, and Becky Nevin) from University of Colorado at Boulder!
Amanda has given a previous talk at Astronomy On Tap NYC, and will be talking about comets at the Longmont event!
Becky gave a talk about the downfall of the dinosaurs at one of our AoT:CO events in Denver.
Gabriel/Gabo is fresh to AoT, but we can guarantee that he will rain sweet, sweet space science down upon your mind while you pour sweet, sweet beer down your gullet.
This is our first event in Longmont, so let’s make it awesome! As usual, the admission is free.
