Astronomy on Tap – Lansing – July 2018

Come join Astronomy on Tap Lansing at the Loft (414 E Michigan Ave) on July 11 for our third trip around the Sun — we can’t believe it’s been three years already!

This month we’ll have two great talks that will explore how ancient cultures perceived astronomical events and why astronomers are still a bit stumped by what causes some supernova explosions. Our presenters include MSU PhD student Kristen Dage and Vertafore‘s Danny Huizenga. We’ll also have trivia questions, raffle prizes, and a Q&A session with local astronomers.

As always, this is a FREE event. Doors will open at 7:00pm and the event will start at 7:30pm.

If you’ll be showing up hungry, make sure to grab some takeout from your favorite Lansing establishment and bring it with you as outside food is allowed in the Loft.

If you need elevator access, please ask for assistance from the staff inside Taps 25.
