Astronomy on Tap ATX #37: October 24, 2017

*** AoTATX this month will be at the 4th Tuesday, October 24th ***

This October, we present three exciting talks given by three amazing astronomers, who travel to Austin for the Frank N. Bash Symposium 2017!  Dr. Johnanna Teske will talk about the planets around “solar-twin” stars; Dr. Greg Mosby will talk how to find signal in noise to understand galaxy evolution; and finally, Dr. Coral Wheeler will show us the history of small galaxies.

AoTATX37 will be hosted by our Host Binary Stars, A$AP Rocky Planet (Raquel Martinez) and AstroBoz (Dr. Brandon Bozek)! In addition, AoTATX37 will feature Astronomy in the News, trivia, and brand new AoTATX magnets. Pueblo Viejo will be opened for tacos!  Finally, we will have telescopes on hand to look for exciting objects in the night sky (weather permitting)! Join us for a night full of astronomy fun over pints of beer!
