Join us for a virtual tour of the universe! Our guide will be Dr. Rachel Smith, head of the Astronomy and Astrophysics Lab at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. She will be teaching us about the search for life beyond Earth and planetary analogues to Earth’s extreme environments. There will also be trivia and prizes. You don’t want to miss out on this one!
Our FREE Astronomy on Tap events features accessible, engaging science presentations on topics ranging from planets to black holes to the beginning of the Universe. There is always lots of time to ask questions and interact with the presenters and other scientists who inevitably stick around for the beer.
