Astronomy on Tap Boston – June 12, 2017

Our June event will take place at a brand new venue: the Bell in Hand Tavern, located in the heart of Boston. This month, our theme is the search for alien life, and will feature talks by MIT astronomer Diana Dragomir and astrochemist Clara Sousa Silva. As usual, we will also have astro news and astronomy-themed games with prizes (including eclipse glasses and AoT Boston beer mugs!). Event is free of charge. Must be 21 years or older.

The April Astronomy on Tap Boston event, featuring short astronomy talks, news and astronomy-themed games with prizes. This month, WIT professor Ben Placek brings us the dark (and bright!) side of exoplanets, and MIT astronomers Paul Torrey shows us the Universe in a box. Our April event is also part of the Cambridge Science Festival. Event is free of charge. Must be 21 years or older.

Astronomy on Tap – Boston – January 2017

 

The Boston satellite of Astronomy on Tap will hold its first event on January 30. It will feature three short astronomy talks and trivia with prizes. Come explore alien worlds, the first galaxies and the oldest stars in the Universe with MIT astronomers Jenn Burt, Monica Turner and Rana Ezzeddine. Event is free of charge.
