Held at Happy Valley Brewing Company, our events are free and open to all ages. Come join us for talks from local astronomers that are accessible to the public while enjoying a nice beer and good food!
Our next event is Monday, April 16th from 5-7pm, and we’ll be celebrating our 1 year anniversary! The talks will focus on the next generation of exoplanet surveys. Angie Wolfgang will talk about the science goals and launch of TESS (scheduled to launch earlier that same day!), and Suvrath Mahadevan will talk about the high-resolution planet-finding spectrographs being built at Penn State. As always, we’ll have trivia and prizes between speakers!
The first talk starts at 5:30, but come at 5 for a good seat and to take advantage of the 4-6pm happy hour.
