Tucson’s local flavor of Astronomy on Tap, #SpaceDrafts, is excited to present its 60th edition this June with Dr. Bill Hartmann and Amanda Stadermann:

The Next 50 Years of Lunar Exploration – Amanda Stadermann
First, Dr. Bill Hartmann (Planetary Science Institute Senior Scientist Emeritus) will tell us about past Lunar Exploration, focussing on the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 Lunar Landing! Dr. William K. Hartmann’s interest in general span the origin and evolution of the planetary system and planetary surfaces! Then, Amanda Stadermann (Graduate Student at the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory) will present current Lunar research and exploration! Amanda studies Moon rocks brought back from the Apollo mission and uses Satellite data to remotely study lunar rocks!
The event is on July 24th, 7pm, at the Borderlands Brewing Company (119 E. Toole Ave, Tucson AZ).
